Senior DevOps/SRE Engineer

Job summary

• 9+ years of experience

• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipeline design

• Strong knowledge of build systems
• Experience with modern concurrent programming and threading APIs
• Experience with Windows operating system development
• Experience with Linux operating system development
• Experience with software development processes and tools such as debuggers, source code control systems (GitHub), and profilers
• Effective communication skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins
• Contribute to major components of CI platforms
• Lead independent projects within CI
• Participate in design and reviews for build architectures
• Contribute to shift-left activities
• Improve developer feedback loops
• Lead SRE activities with a team
• Modernize developer workflows for component teams
• Streamline release packaging activities
• Debug and fix existing issues
• Research alternative, efficient solutions
• Develop technical relationships with peers and partners
• Develop code in IaC, Python, and Bash for automation
