Job summary
The Senior DevSecOps Engineer provides technical leadership across DevSecOps, connecting Development, Security, and Technology Operations to improve secure software delivery and release-cycle reliability. The role designs and evolves CI/CD pipelines, mentors engineers, evaluates new technologies, and supports technical planning and communications. Core technologies include Azure DevOps, Bicep, Git, Docker, scripting languages, and Azure monitoring tools.

Qualifications
- At least 7 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, cloud infrastructure operations, or software engineering.
- Advanced experience with Azure DevOps Boards, Repos, Pipelines, and Artifacts.
- Experience designing scalable CI/CD architectures, governance standards, and infrastructure as code using Bicep or equivalent.
- Proficiency with Git, Docker, Bicep, PowerShell or Bash, and cloud monitoring or observability platforms.
- Programming and automation experience with PowerShell, Bash, Python, REST, or Bicep; Java or .NET experience is an asset.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Fluent English communication skills; French bilingual skills are an asset.
- Experience in a security-sensitive or regulated industry, such as financial services, is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, documentation, and evolution of secure, scalable, reliable CI/CD pipelines and configuration management practices.
- Mentor and coach engineers on DevSecOps tools, practices, and operational excellence.
- Improve CI/CD workflows to increase automation and delivery speed and strengthen security.
- Promote standardized DevSecOps tooling and practices across Development, Security, and Technology Operations.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies, conduct proofs of concept, and lead adoption of tools and methodologies.
- Identify improvements to delivery predictability, developer experience, and the software delivery lifecycle.
- Coordinate technical planning and roadmap alignment with partner teams.
- Create documentation, training, and presentations for technical and stakeholder audiences.
