Senior DevSecOps Engineer

Job summary

Fintel Connect is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to lead the implementation and continuous improvement of cloud security and infrastructure automation within AWS.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, DevSecOps, or related role.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and security architecture.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and integrating security into software delivery.
• Experience with vulnerability management and cloud security tooling.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog or CloudWatch.
• Familiarity with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern web frameworks is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Remediate vulnerabilities identified through various security assessments.
• Perform security hardening and patch management.
• Conduct regular reviews of AWS environments and recommend improvements.
• Administer AWS networking and infrastructure security.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
• Implement continuous monitoring across AWS environments.
• Secure CI/CD pipelines according to security standards.
• Maintain and support MongoDB environments.
