Senior DevSecOps Engineer

Job summary

Design, implement, and sustain automated cloud infrastructure for DCSA enterprise applications, integrating security controls and vulnerability remediation across a large AWS environment. Maintain infrastructure as code, configuration management, automated testing, and cloud-native services, while administering Linux, Windows Server, and Microsoft Entra ID environments. Support cloud provisioning, access control, backup and recovery, monitoring, and technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret security clearance.
• Eligibility for DCSA Personnel Assurance Program enrollment.
• CompTIA Security+ certification meeting DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements.
• Bachelor's degree.
• At least 6 years of cloud platform experience, preferably with AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with logging, SIEM, endpoint security, and cloud-native monitoring tools.
• Ability to communicate cybersecurity risks and technical findings as actionable recommendations for technical and nontechnical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Implement system hardening and security baselines in accordance with DISA STIGs and NIST standards.
• Manage system updates, patches, and vulnerability remediation in accordance with DCSA timelines.
• Automate operational tasks, provisioning, monitoring, backup, restoration, and disaster recovery.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain technical documentation.
