Senior DevSecOps Engineer

Job summary

Seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to lead Agile teams in designing, developing, and implementing DevSecOps practices and tools for secure software delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelors and nine years or more experience; Masters and seven years or more experience; PhD or JD
• Active Secret-level security clearance and Security+ certification are mandatory
• At least 8 years of experience in software development, DevOps, or IT operations
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in an Agile environment
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe
• Expertise in building and managing CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform
• Experience with Kubernetes and container technologies
• Understanding of CI/CD pipeline stages and automation best practices
• Knowledge of secure environments and compliance frameworks

Responsibilities

• Establish and enforce DevSecOps best practices throughout the software development lifecycle
• Integrate and maintain DevSecOps tools to improve automated CI/CD pipelines
• Lead Agile teams and facilitate Agile ceremonies
• Prioritize security in all development projects
• Collaborate with software developers, security engineers, and IT operations
• Foster team collaboration and continuous improvement
• Mentor development team members on DevSecOps practices and Agile methodologies
• Provide project updates and reports to leadership
