Job summary
Sogeti, part of Capgemini, is seeking a (Senior) DevSecOps Engineer to ensure the security, quality, and stability of cloud and IT environments for clients. The role involves integrating security principles into CI/CD pipelines, optimizing secure architectures, and advising clients on IT security governance and compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience in cloud security, DevSecOps tools, and Infrastructure as Code.

Qualifications
- Several years of experience in Cloud Security (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and knowledge of relevant security services
- Profound knowledge in DevSecOps and experience with automated security checks and vulnerability scans in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Trivy, Aqua Security, Snyk, or SonarQube)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform or CloudFormation) and tools like Ansible, Kubernetes, or Docker
- Knowledge of vulnerability management, threat detection, and incident response
- Desirable: profound knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2)
- Desirable: relevant cloud certifications
- Desirable: IT degree or comparable qualification
- Strategic thinking, solution-oriented action, and responsibility
- Clear communication with clients, stakeholders, and technical teams
- Technology-open, fast learner, and practical application of new trends in Cloud, AI, and Automation
- Team player and comfortable in agile project environments
- Willingness to travel for project-related assignments in Germany
- Very good German language skills (at least C1)
- Conversational English language skills
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the security, quality, and stability of cloud and IT environments for clients
- Integrate security principles into CI/CD pipelines and automate secure software delivery
- Develop and optimize secure architectures based on current DevSecOps technologies
- Utilize new approaches like AI-supported solutions to make processes more efficient and scalable
- Advise clients on governance, compliance, and best practices in IT security
