Job summary
Sogeti, part of the Capgemini Group, is seeking a (Senior) DevSecOps Engineer to ensure the security, quality, and stability of cloud and IT environments for clients. The role involves integrating security principles into CI/CD pipelines, automating secure software delivery, and developing secure architectures using current DevSecOps technologies. The engineer will also advise clients on IT security governance, compliance, and best practices.

Qualifications
- Several years of experience in Cloud Security (Azure, AWS, GCP) and knowledge of relevant security services
- Profound knowledge in DevSecOps and experience with automated security checks and vulnerability scans in CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and tools like Ansible, Kubernetes, or Docker
- Knowledge of vulnerability management, threat detection, and incident response
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2) is desirable
- Relevant cloud certifications are desirable
- An IT degree or comparable qualification is desirable
- Strategic thinking, solution-oriented action, and taking responsibility
- Clear communication with clients, stakeholders, and technical teams
- Technology-open, fast learner, and able to apply new trends in cloud, AI, and automation
- Team player and comfortable in agile project environments
- Willingness to travel for project-related assignments in Germany
- Very good German language skills (at least C1)
- Conversational English skills
