Senior DevSecOps / Platform Engineer

Job summary

The Senior DevSecOps / Platform Engineer owns the end-to-end delivery and operational health of an Agentic AI platform, building secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure for production use. The role spans CI/CD pipelines and automated testing, Amazon EKS and Kubernetes operations, AWS infrastructure provisioned with OpenTofu or Terraform, monitoring and synthetic health checks, and security testing and compliance practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience, master’s degree with at least 6 years, or PhD with at least 3 years in platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, or related infrastructure engineering.
• Deep CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions and/or GitLab CI.
• Hands-on experience operating Amazon EKS and Kubernetes environments.
• Senior-level AWS experience, including VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, CloudTrail, and KMS.
• Experience with OpenTofu or Terraform, monitoring and alerting, and automated testing in CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience conducting DAST and security testing against live services, including findings triage and gating.
• Strong security and compliance engineering experience, troubleshooting ability, and operational ownership.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Own platform delivery and operations across CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, observability, and runtime reliability.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and/or GitLab CI, with automated testing and quality gates.
• Operate Amazon EKS and Kubernetes environments, including cluster lifecycle, upgrades, troubleshooting, RBAC, and Helm deployments.
• Provision and manage AWS infrastructure using OpenTofu or Terraform.
• Operate monitoring, logging, alerting, and synthetic checks for service health and critical transactions.
• Implement DAST and runtime security testing in delivery pipelines.
• Support secrets management, least privilege, software supply chain integrity, and audit evidence generation.
