Job summary
The Senior Engineer, Platform Engineering role is centered on developing and maintaining a Kubernetes-based platform to streamline application development and deployment for engineering teams. Responsibilities include designing scalable solutions on Azure and GCP, enhancing GitOps workflows with ArgoCD and GitHub, and fostering platform adoption through effective documentation and collaboration.
Qualifications
- strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes
- solid knowledge of GitOps principles
- experience with GitHub and collaborative development practices
- strong problem-solving skills
- good communication and collaboration skills
- experience with Backstage, Terraform, Helm, platform engineering or SRE practices is considered an advantage
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain Kubernetes-based platform across Azure and GCP
- Build and improve GitOps workflows using ArgoCD and GitHub
- Develop self-service platform capabilities
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand their needs
- Monitor and continuously improve platform performance
- Promote platform adoption through technical guidance
