Trackunit is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead engineering teams in London, Ontario, focusing on platform scalability, observability, and security for their IoT product.

Responsibilities

• Lead through regular 1:1s, impact conversations, roadmap planning, and retrospectives.
• Ensure team members have what they need to perform well and grow.
• Support and run the global SRE community, coordinating on direction and initiatives.
• Define team operations: infrastructure patterns, design doc requirements, development practices, quality standards, and cost accountability.
• Participate in architecture reviews and guide engineers in decision-making.
• Maintain strategic direction for teams, focusing on stability and scalability.
• Oversee platform security: patching, tooling, and compliance.
• Participate in on-call rotations for major incident management and security.
