Qualifications

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Natural Sciences or equivalent
• At least 8 years of experience in IT
• Extensive experience in operating JAVA applications
• Solid knowledge of operating systems, middleware technologies, and databases
• Strong understanding of complex IT landscapes
• Proficient in Python, Unix Shell programming, Java, REST
• Proficient in SQL and PLSQL scripting
• Experience with containerization and orchestration
• Familiarity with monitoring tools
• Analytical and solution-oriented thinking
• Fluent in English (C1 according to GER)
• Fluent in German or willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Manage operation and monitoring of platforms and applications with 24/7 availability and high performance
• Design and implement effective monitoring and CI/CD pipelines
• Analyze and resolve complex incidents
• Develop modern software architectures for IT systems
• Ensure compliance with Cyber Security guidelines
• Conduct security assessments and tests
• Manage capacity planning
• Coach internal and external staff
• Support and advise users, project leaders, architects, and service managers
• Participate in Communities of Practice
