Job summary
n8n*** is seeking a Senior Frontend Platform Engineer to design and evolve the frontend platform foundations for their workflow-building experience.
Qualifications
- Built architecture-heavy frontend products
- Measure, debug, and improve runtime performance
- Strong TypeScript frontend experience
- Owned meaningful frontend systems
- Think in trade-offs, correctness, platform contracts
- Communicate clearly and work cross-functionally
- Excited by refactoring and improving existing systems
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve core frontend platform primitives
- Strengthen platform contracts such as plugin systems
- Help modularize a large, evolving frontend codebase
- Work on the architecture behind n8n***’s canvas-based workflow building experience
- Build and improve real-time collaboration capabilities
- Improve rendering performance, runtime behavior, and responsiveness
- Drive technical decisions through clear proposals
- Partner closely with product engineers, QA, DX, Security, Staff Architects
