Senior Full Stack Developer ( DevOps + Security)

Job summary

Senior Full Stack Developer role involves applying secure-coding best practices, utilizing modern DevOps tooling, and collaborating with security experts to enhance backend capabilities and APIs.

Qualifications

• Total experience: 5 years+
• Strong backend expertise with Java or Node.js
• Experience building RESTful APIs and working with Open API specifications
• Intermediate to advanced experience with Angular (React is a plus)
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or OpenShift
• Strong working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Expert-level Git skills, including branching, merging, and code reviews
• Experience translating Figma designs into production-ready UI
• Hands-on experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, or similar monitoring tools
• Proven experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipeline design
• Strong focus on automated unit, functional, and performance testing
• Experience integrating intelligent agents into CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with application security practices and secure coding standards
• Experience with vulnerability scanning and remediation tools
• Exposure to integrating security gates within CI/CD pipelines

Responsibilities

• Apply secure-coding best practices to existing services
• Use modern DevOps tooling including GitHub, CI/CD, and cloud platforms
• Collaborate with security SMEs to understand threat models
• Design and build new backend capabilities and APIs
• Participate in design discussions and contribute to technical decisions
• Pair-program and conduct code reviews with senior engineers
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery
• Work closely with cross-functional partners across engineering, product, and business teams
