Senior GenAI Cloud Engineer F/M

Job summary

Build and operate the shared AWS platform that powers production GenAI workflows for players and business teams, including a multi-provider LLM gateway, agent observability, deployment blueprints, and experimentation environments. The role covers Infrastructure as Code, security, incident response, observability, and FinOps, as well as data-informed evaluation of technologies such as gateway routing and caching, self-hosted inference, fine-tuning, and code execution sandboxes.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of Cloud, SRE, or Platform Engineering experience for Advanced level, or 5 years for Senior level.
• Hands-on experience operating AWS in production.
• Proficiency with Terraform, CI/CD, and distributed systems at scale.
• Experience using AI tools to improve work.
• Fluent English.
• For Senior candidates: experience making architectural decisions, leading cross-functional technical initiatives, owning platform domains, and mentoring team members.
• Curiosity, critical thinking, and a data-driven approach to evaluating technologies.
• Ability to investigate root causes and assess edge cases.
• Clear communication and a collaborative approach.
• Nice to have: familiarity with the GenAI ecosystem, EKS, AWS certification, or LLM inference and fine-tuning experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate the shared GenAI platform using Infrastructure as Code.
• Manage platform upgrades, security, access, daily operations, incident response, and internal team support.
• Design reusable infrastructure blueprints with security, observability, and cost controls.
• Provide workload visibility through logs, service health metrics, LLM requests, token consumption, and cost monitoring.
• Make FinOps a core practice for production, experimentation, and research infrastructure.
• Evaluate platform capabilities and provide evidence-based technical recommendations.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Cloud and SRE, Security, and Developer Experience teams.
