Senior Golang Engineer - DevOps Enablement (all genders)

Job summary

Develop and operate high-performance Go backend services, internal developer tools, and APIs, with ownership across the full service lifecycle. The work includes deploying and debugging services in Kubernetes, managing Helm charts and infrastructure with Terraform and Terragrunt, and participating in on-call support. Production environments must meet PCI-DSS security requirements, including manual approval for merges and deployments.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands-on Go or backend development experience
• Demonstrated ability to build clean, maintainable microservices and make sound technical trade-offs
• Daily experience deploying, debugging, and managing containerized services in Kubernetes
• Proficiency with Terraform and Terragrunt
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and Redis
• Advanced application of AI technologies, such as RAG workflows, to solve complex problems
• Based in Hamburg, Germany, or willing to relocate there

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver high-performance Go backend services, internal developer tools, and APIs

• Provide operational support and participate in on-call rotation for owned services
• Build and operate PCI-DSS-compliant production environments with manual approval for merges and deployments
