Job summary
Design, build, operate, and sustain hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure for platform services and mission-critical workloads in highly secure environments. The role covers AWS classified environments, Kubernetes platforms such as EKS, networking, storage, and tenant services, while supporting infrastructure lifecycle activities, production reliability, and Tier 3/4 troubleshooting.

Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
- At least 8 years of cloud, infrastructure, platform, or systems engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes or container platforms.
- Experience with Linux, networking, storage, load balancing, and production infrastructure.
- Experience supporting hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure and application-platform dependencies.
- Degree and experience combinations: 8 years with a BS/BA, 10 years with an AS/AA, or 12 years considered in lieu of a degree.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, configure, and operate AWS infrastructure for shared services, mission hosting, and tenant environments.
- Operate Kubernetes and container platforms, including EKS or comparable technologies.
- Engineer compute, storage, load balancing, DNS, ingress, egress, and supporting platform services.
- Integrate cloud environments with on-premises and restricted-network infrastructure.
- Support backup, recovery, resiliency, capacity, patching, and platform lifecycle activities.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues across cloud, Kubernetes, storage, networking, and operating systems.
- Support standardized tenant infrastructure and reusable environment patterns.
- Participate in Tier 3/4 troubleshooting, scheduled maintenance, upgrades, and production on-call support.
