Job summary
TxODDS is seeking a Senior Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer to enhance their infrastructure and deployment pipelines. The role involves collaboration with software engineers and data teams to ensure robust and high-performing systems.
Qualifications
- Experience with AWS infrastructure and services
- Understanding of Linux systems and networking fundamentals
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and containerization
- Proactive monitoring and incident management approach
- Strong scripting skills in Bash or Python
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in fast-paced tech environments
- Willingness for 24/7 on-call support rotation
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable infrastructure across AWS
- Improve CI/CD pipelines for faster deployments
- Lead infrastructure automation with Terraform and Ansible
- Monitor system performance and identify improvements
- Support high-availability systems and disaster recovery
- Collaborate with teams to optimize workflows and architecture
- Manage security best practices across environments
- Evaluate and integrate new tools for platform reliability
- Participate in incident response and postmortems
- Mentor junior team members and promote DevOps best practices
