Senior Infrastructure Engineer – AI Platform (f/m/x)

Job summary

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer role focuses on enhancing cloud and platform foundations to empower teams in building, deploying, and operating software solutions. Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or related fields
• Strong expertise in AWS and Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform
• Experience authoring reusable Terraform modules
• Ability to write and maintain production code in Go, Python, or TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with agent or LLM-backed workflows
• Strong understanding of security best practices
• Proven problem-solving skills in ambiguous environments
• Analytical mindset with technical and product awareness
• Experience in start-up or scale-up environments
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Fluency in English

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain highly scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure on AWS
• Lead Infrastructure-as-Code practices using Terraform
• Build deployment patterns, workload identity, access controls, and operational guardrails
• Evolve monitoring and observability strategy using Grafana and Sentry
• Establish evaluation methods for non-deterministic behaviour
• Continuously improve automation, deployment pipelines, and system reliability
• Mentor mid-level engineers and share knowledge
• Communicate technical trade-offs and priorities
• Balance multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment
