Job summary

Rumble is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer (CDN) to enhance the content delivery infrastructure for its video platform, focusing on optimizing performance, reliability, and scalability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant network, systems, or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of IP networking, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, DNS.
• Experience with CDN, edge, reverse-proxy, caching, and load-balancing infrastructure.
• Knowledge of caching behavior and cache-control directives.
• Experience optimizing availability, latency, and throughput for high-traffic services.
• Strong Linux systems experience in production environments.
• Experience automating infrastructure with scripting languages.
• Expert troubleshooting skills during high-impact incidents.
• Excellent technical documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, operate, and improve CDN and edge-delivery infrastructure.
• Enhance video and content-delivery performance through cache optimization and traffic management.
• Develop systems for origin protection, cache hierarchy, and traffic distribution.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve latency and availability issues.
• Automate configuration management and operational workflows.
• Contribute to capacity planning and infrastructure expansion.
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident response.
• Document infrastructure designs and operational procedures.
