Job summary

Buro Happold is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer (contractor) to join their Infrastructure Group in London. This role involves managing multidisciplinary projects, reviewing civil infrastructure design, and contributing to planning team workload while mentoring junior staff. The successful candidate will also prepare and review technical reports and contribute to securing project pipelines.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background in infrastructure design
• Demonstrable track record of delivering a technical specialism in a core infrastructure discipline (Highways, Utilities or Sustainable Drainage)
• Experience in successful multidisciplinary project delivery
• Ability to manage and motivate teams
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel
• Desire to lead continuous quality improvement
• Member of a relevant professional institution
