Job summary

Copper is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own key infrastructure components, lead technology estate management, and drive cloud architecture initiatives. This role involves mentoring junior team members, contributing to strategic projects, and collaborating across IT and DevOps. The successful candidate will manage virtual Apple or Windows estates, design and implement cloud infrastructure, and build secure environments.

Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency in Endpoint Management using Jamf Pro or Intune
  • Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, and IaC tools like Terraform or Bicep
  • Solid experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure), including VMs, networking, and IAM
  • Proven ability to design and implement secure environments (e.g., Bastion, VDI)
  • Experience with systems integration (e.g., Slack, Teams, Atlassian)
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog)
  • Understanding of patching, OS upgrades, and endpoint lifecycle management
  • Proactively identify issues and propose effective solutions
  • Support junior engineers through coaching and knowledge sharing
  • Work effectively with DevOps, Engineering, and Service Delivery teams
  • Lead infrastructure projects with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities
