Senior Infrastructure Engineer, Dashboard Platform

Job summary

Algolia is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with a focus on infrastructure automation for the Dashboard Platform team. This role involves working on core features of the Algolia Dashboard, building new services for the infrastructure platform using Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS, and creating tooling and guidelines for a great Developer Experience. The ideal candidate will lead projects autonomously, plan ahead, and orchestrate changes across projects and teams.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of modern infrastructure management with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform on cloud providers (AWS, GCP)
• Familiarity with AI coding agents
• Rigor in high code quality, automated testing, and engineering best practices
• Strong focus on Developer Experience
• Well-spoken and written English skills
• Experience at a company with over 10,000 customers, $50-200M ARR, high growth, and building internal infrastructure
