Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Job summary

Seeking a senior-level Infrastructure Engineer for the Managed Services team. This role involves acting as a top technical escalation point, designing and supporting complex environments, leading infrastructure projects, and troubleshooting issues across multiple clients. The ideal candidate will be an experienced engineer capable of owning complex environments and communicating effectively with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years in infrastructure engineering or enterprise IT
• Strong experience in hybrid environments including on-premise and Azure/AWS
• Deep hands-on knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure including Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy Objects
• Solid experience with virtualization including VMware and Hyper-V
• Working knowledge of networking including firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, and routing
• Proven ability to solve complex, multi-system issues independently
• Experience in a Managed Service Provider or multi-client environment is strongly preferred
• Ability to determine root causes of issues
• Comfortable in high-pressure situations and communicate clearly
• Take ownership of problems
• Translate technical issues into business impact for clients
• Lead by example and help develop others
• Pass a level 2 background check
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Possess a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Act as the top technical escalation point for complex infrastructure issues
• Design and support on-premise, hybrid, and cloud environments
• Lead infrastructure projects, migrations, and upgrades
• Troubleshoot cross-domain issues including server, network, and cloud end-to-end
• Drive root cause analysis and long-term solutions
• Partner directly with clients during high-impact situations
• Mentor engineers and help elevate technical standards across the team
