Job summary
The Senior Infrastructure Engineer leads the architecture, engineering standards, and development of infrastructure supporting business operations and major conferences, exhibitions, and public events. The role designs and maintains Cisco networks and Microsoft platforms, including Windows Server, Azure, Active Directory, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365, while managing resilience, capacity, backup, and disaster recovery. It also provides senior incident and project expertise and drives infrastructure modernisation across on-premises and cloud environments.

Qualifications
- Strong experience with enterprise Cisco networking, including routing, switching, and wireless.
- Solid engineering experience with Windows Server, Azure, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
- Experience designing, implementing, and supporting secure, reliable, high-performance enterprise infrastructure.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex infrastructure issues.
- Ability to document technical solutions, establish standards, and share knowledge.
- Full Australian working rights and ability to complete a probity check.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and improve Cisco networks, including routing, switching, wireless, and network security.
- Engineer and maintain Microsoft infrastructure, including Windows Server, Azure, Active Directory, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365.
- Lead infrastructure architecture, technical design, and engineering standards across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Manage infrastructure resilience, capacity, backups, disaster recovery, data centres, and networks.
- Provide senior technical expertise for complex incidents, infrastructure changes, and major technology projects.
- Mentor IT team members and improve technical documentation.
- Modernise and standardise infrastructure to reduce technical risk and improve supportability.
