Job summary

HM Land Registry is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to enhance its IT Security Operations by emulating threat actors and conducting advanced security testing.

Qualifications

  • Experience in technical information gathering and analysis
  • Experience in cyber security testing
  • Experience in planning attack simulations
  • Experience in applying frameworks to map attacker behavior
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong leadership through coaching or mentoring

Responsibilities

  • Emulate threat actors to identify vulnerabilities
  • Conduct penetration testing on networks and applications
  • Perform simulated attacks to evaluate defensive controls
  • Identify security weaknesses and misconfigurations
  • Assess risks from security findings
  • Analyze attacker entry points using threat intelligence
  • Communicate risks and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Support implementation of security control improvements
  • Plan and deliver Red Team engagements
  • Provide threat intelligence to security teams
  • Enhance security controls and incident response capabilities
  • Maintain awareness of the cyber threat landscape
  • Produce documentation and technical reports
