Job summary

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for deploying and maintaining advanced software while developing tools and integrations with third-party infrastructure components. Key responsibilities include evolving and optimizing a cloud-agnostic platform infrastructure, simplifying orchestration, and enhancing observability suites using technologies such as Python, Golang, Kubernetes, and Docker.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience building and scaling infrastructure platforms
• Strong proficiency in building production-ready platform tooling using Python or Golang
• Deep understanding of container and orchestration internals
• Hands-on experience extending and integrating open-source tools
• Proven ability to package and scale developer-facing infrastructure utilities

Responsibilities

• Evolve, scale, and optimise the cloud-agnostic platform infrastructure
• Build intuitive control planes and automation to abstract away infrastructure complexity
• Engineer robust, fault-tolerant architectures and Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity Planning systems
• Enhance observability suites shared across the product ecosystem
• Scale and optimise core databases and event-streaming platforms
