Job summary
The Senior Infrastructure Engineer is tasked with designing, building, and operating cloud networking infrastructure, primarily utilizing AWS, to enhance satellite operations and customer delivery. This role involves managing infrastructure through automation with tools such as Terraform and Ansible, while ensuring the reliability and security of critical production systems in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications
- Solid, proven experience operating cloud infrastructure, AWS experience is preferred
- Strong understanding of core networking fundamentals, routing, and how these translate into hybrid and cloud environments
- Understanding of secure network design (VPNs, encrypted communications)
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation and IaC tooling (Git, Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines)
- Ability to design, explain, and defend network architecture decisions
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate cloud networking infrastructure (AWS preferred) supporting satellite operations and customer delivery
- Contribute hands-on to the networking layer of AWS infrastructure
- Manage infrastructure through automation, API driven configuration, and version controlled change processes
- Contribute to the design of hybrid networks connecting cloud and on-premises environments
- Own critical production systems with a focus on reliability, observability, and security against real-world threats
