Job summary
The Senior Infrastructure Engineer leads the design, implementation, support, and continuous improvement of enterprise messaging and collaboration platforms. The role provides technical leadership for secure, resilient, and scalable Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, on-premises, and hybrid environments. It also covers integrations using Microsoft Graph, EWS, REST APIs, and PowerShell, alongside messaging compliance, automation, and service improvement.

Qualifications
- Microsoft Exchange Online or Microsoft 365 Expert certification.
- Significant experience managing Exchange on-premises, online, and hybrid environments.
- Experience managing mail flow, transport rules, connectors, and security configurations.
- Strong understanding of Active Directory, Azure AD, and API integrations using Microsoft Graph, EWS, and REST.
- Experience leading complex technical initiatives and cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Microsoft Purview, Teams, SharePoint, or OneDrive.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and support of Exchange Online, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
- Deliver Exchange integrations using Microsoft Graph API, EWS, REST APIs, and PowerShell.
- Develop automation, tooling, and reporting to improve operational efficiency and service performance.
- Provide technical authority for Microsoft 365 messaging, compliance, eDiscovery, retention, litigation hold, and information governance.
- Maintain security, availability, resilience, and compliance of messaging platforms.
- Collaborate with technical, business, security, and legal stakeholders to shape messaging strategy.
- Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practice, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.
- Maintain architecture, operational, and service documentation.
