Job summary

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and improving the organization's IT infrastructure and cloud platforms, ensuring security, scalability, and alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years infrastructure engineering experience
• 3+ years cloud engineering experience
• Experience designing secure enterprise infrastructure solutions
• Experience with outsourced or co-managed MSP services
• Proven experience managing technical relationships with MSPs
• Experience reviewing technical solutions from external providers

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for Infrastructure Engineering function
• Define and maintain infrastructure standards and roadmaps
• Review and approve technical designs and change requests
• Act as liaison between internal IT teams and MSP partners
• Oversee lifecycle management of servers and technologies
• Manage third-party suppliers and technology vendors
• Ensure infrastructure services meet performance requirements
• Lead capacity planning and infrastructure modernisation
• Establish governance processes and technical standards
• Provide leadership for technology programmes and projects
• Manage infrastructure budgets and vendor relationships
