Job summary
Designs, implements, and maintains secure, scalable, and resilient cloud and on-premises infrastructure, including migration of applications and databases to Azure. The role builds infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD automation, manages identity, security, monitoring, and disaster recovery, and contributes to architectural decisions and long-term infrastructure strategy while mentoring engineers and supporting clinical applications.

Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure, including IaaS, PaaS, serverless computing, and databases.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code, configuration, and automation tools such as Terraform.
- Proficiency with Windows Server, Linux, PowerShell, and Bash.
- Experience with Azure identity services, RBAC, managed identities, and Key Vault.
- Experience designing and supporting highly available cloud environments, including backup, restore, and disaster recovery.
- Understanding of cloud security, secure configuration, patching, and vulnerability management.
- Understanding of networking, load balancing, DNS, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or New Relic.
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve cloud and on-premises infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Support migration of applications and databases from on-premises environments to Azure.
- Implement identity, access control, and security practices, including Entra ID, RBAC, managed identities, and Key Vault.
- Build infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, ARM/Bicep, or CloudFormation.
- Manage patching, vulnerability remediation, and secure configuration baselines.
- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, networking, and security teams to deliver Azure platform solutions.
- Implement monitoring and observability, and optimize cost, performance, and resource use.
- Mentor junior engineers, document systems and decisions, and contribute to infrastructure strategy.
