Job summary
Ofgem is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to deliver and maintain infrastructure services across legacy, hybrid, and cloud environments.
Qualifications
- Experience managing Azure and hybrid infrastructure environments
- Experience with automation tools and scripting
- Understanding of infrastructure security and networking best practices
- Experience troubleshooting complex systems
- Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Deliver and support Azure Legacy, Azure Hybrid, and Azure Cloud infrastructure environments
- Translate designs into operational infrastructure solutions
- Provide technical leadership and act as an escalation point for complex issues
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Develop automation and configuration management approaches
- Support modern engineering practices
- Manage infrastructure components across their lifecycle
- Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
