Job summary
The Senior Infrastructure Engineer manages and scales infrastructure for SaaS applications across data centers and AWS. The role automates deployments, improves system design, performance, and testing, and promotes secure infrastructure-as-code practices using technologies including Terraform/OpenTofu, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and PostgreSQL. The environment also includes Ubuntu, Ganeti, Jenkins, Hadoop, and Scala and NodeJS services.

Qualifications
- At least 6 years of professional industry experience, including at least 2 years at a SaaS startup
- Deep experience with Terraform or OpenTofu using a DRY methodology
- Strong experience with infrastructure as code and Ansible configuration management
- Strong AWS experience; GovCloud, Azure, and GCP experience are beneficial
- Experience owning datacenter infrastructure
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in on-premises and cloud environments
- Experience with availability engineering, performance metrics, and monitoring
- Familiarity with firewalls, relational databases, secrets storage, and PXE, DHCP, and TFTP
- Experience operating SaaS applications under compliance regimes
- Strong communication, presentation, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
