Job summary
The Senior Infrastructure Engineer designs, builds, and maintains scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-native infrastructure for distributed products and services. The role automates provisioning and deployments, improves developer self-service, supports production operations and security, and mentors engineers. Core technologies include AWS or GCP, Terraform or Crossplane, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Docker, Kubernetes, and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.

Qualifications
- At least four years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE, including work with large-scale distributed systems.
- Deep technical experience with AWS or GCP.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Crossplane.
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with GitHub Actions or ArgoCD.
- Proficiency in Python, Go, Bash, or another programming or scripting language.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix administration and TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or similar observability tools.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-native infrastructure on AWS or GCP.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management with Terraform, Crossplane, or related tools.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
- Manage containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes, using Helm and Kustomize.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to maintain system health and resolve issues.
- Participate in production on-call support and incident response.
- Partner with development teams to provide self-service platforms and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
- Implement security best practices, conduct assessments, and support compliance with industry standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
