Job summary

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will lead a team to develop and deliver the Infrastructure Functional Requirements (IFR) for the SSN-AUKUS Submarine Construction Yard. Key responsibilities include engaging stakeholders to capture operational needs, providing technical leadership, and implementing engineering tools such as AutoCAD and DOORS to support project management and documentation delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience managing technical projects in industrial manufacturing or construction
• Experience in infrastructure design and construction project management
• Proven ability to manage infrastructure or equipment projects
• Strong leadership skills in guiding technical teams
• Knowledge of Systems Engineering principles and requirements management
• Proficiency in engineering toolsets and intermediate MS Office skills
• Capability in project management disciplines including scope and risk management
• Knowledge of International Traffic in Arms (ITAR) Regulations

Responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder engagements to capture operational needs and translate them into IFR
• Develop and deliver functional requirements for designated facilities
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the Infrastructure Engineering Team
• Contribute to schedule development and governance documentation
• Implement engineering tools and develop templates
• Execute assurance procedures including design reviews and site inspections
• Provide risk-balanced technical advice to stakeholders
• Support risk and opportunity management activities
