Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Job summary

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will design, build, and operate infrastructure for high-scale real-time systems, drive Kubernetes work, contribute to AWS-to-GCP migration, and optimize cloud costs while collaborating with engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in infrastructure, platform, DevOps, or SRE engineering
• Software engineering background with system building experience
• Production coding experience in Go or Python
• Kubernetes experience at a meaningful production scale
• Demonstrated cloud cost or efficiency optimisation at scale
• Direct experience running high-scale, high-load production systems
• Strong cloud fundamentals of networking, compute, storage, IAM
• Hands-on experience in a small team
• Active use of AI tooling in engineering workflow

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate infrastructure for high-scale real-time systems
• Drive Kubernetes work end-to-end
• Contribute to the AWS-to-GCP migration
• Own cost and efficiency optimisation across cloud infrastructure
• Write production Go and Python
• Lead post-migration tuning and capacity planning
• Partner with backend, video, and moderation engineers
• Participate in on-call, incident response, and root cause analysis
