Job summary
Lead the infrastructure and cloud engineering team responsible for secure, reliable services supporting the administration of public-sector pensions. Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure across Microsoft Azure and other platforms, using Terraform for infrastructure as code and working with colleagues and service providers on cloud operations, security, governance, integration, and problem resolution.

Qualifications
- Relevant Microsoft Azure qualification, such as Azure Database Administrator, Azure Administrator, Azure Security Engineer, Azure Developer, or Azure Data Engineer, or equivalent demonstrable industry experience.
- Significant experience designing and implementing scalable infrastructure solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and line manage the infrastructure and cloud engineering team.
- Design, implement, and maintain critical cloud services with colleagues, suppliers, and managed service providers.
- Manage cloud environments and deployments using Terraform and infrastructure as code.
- Design and implement infrastructure solutions, including networking, software, and virtual and cloud computing.
- Apply security practices and controls to protect services.
- Advise or present to IT Change and Architecture Boards on compliant, secure solutions.
- Investigate, resolve, and prevent recurring infrastructure problems.
