Job summary

Keeper Security is seeking a Senior Software Development Test Engineer (SDET) focused on DevOps to design and automate testing for infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and cloud environments.

• 5+ years of experience as an SDET, Software Engineer in Test, Infrastructure Test Engineer or similarly automation-focused engineering role
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and networking
• Strong experience testing or validating infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible or similar technologies
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, Go or another language used for test automation and infrastructure validation
• Experience building automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI or similar platforms
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of infrastructure testing, configuration validation, integration testing and failure-recovery scenarios
• Experience troubleshooting cloud and infrastructure issues using logs, metrics and observability platforms
• Familiarity with security hardening and compliance requirements
• Strong understanding of Git-based development workflows and automated software delivery practices
• Ability to work closely with DevOps, Platform Engineering, Security and Compliance teams to diagnose complex technical issues
• Ability and willingness to use AI-assisted tools effectively

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain automated test frameworks for AWS infrastructure
• Validate infrastructure changes across VPCs, subnets, routing, NAT gateways, IAM, security groups, load balancers and related AWS services
• Develop automated tests for Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible or similar infrastructure-as-code implementations
• Build validation into CI/CD pipelines to identify infrastructure, configuration and deployment issues before production release
• Test containerized and Kubernetes-based environments for functionality, resilience, configuration and security
• Validate infrastructure hardening and security controls against applicable STIG, CIS and compliance requirements
• Develop automated integration, regression, smoke, performance and failure-recovery tests for platform and infrastructure changes
• Verify that Keeper applications and services continue to operate correctly as underlying infrastructure and deployment configurations change
• Analyze logs, metrics and telemetry to troubleshoot failures and produce clear, reproducible defect reports
• Partner with DevOps and Platform engineers to identify test gaps, improve infrastructure testability and automate repetitive validation workflows
• Support audit readiness and compliance validation by producing repeatable test results and technical evidence
• Use AI-assisted tools to improve test development, debugging, root-cause analysis, documentation and workflow efficiency
