Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer

Job summary

Own and improve secure, reliable IT infrastructure across corporate offices, facilities, and construction sites, including Microsoft 365, identity and endpoint management, enterprise networking, cybersecurity, and data protection. Set infrastructure standards, coordinate projects and managed service provider delivery, and strengthen operational resilience through security controls, backup and recovery testing, documentation, and support for escalated issues.

Qualifications

• At least four years of progressively responsible IT infrastructure administration experience
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience, including tenant configuration, security, and governance
• Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, and identity lifecycle management
• Experience managing Microsoft Intune device compliance, endpoint security, and configuration policies
• Experience with managed switches, firewalls, VLANs, network segmentation, routing, and enterprise networking
• Experience administering backup and disaster recovery solutions, including documented restore testing
• Experience coordinating managed service provider relationships, escalations, and operational performance
• Ability to design secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure solutions

Responsibilities

• Design, administer, and maintain Microsoft 365 tenant architecture and configuration standards
• Manage identity lifecycle processes and access controls
• Design, test, deploy, and maintain Conditional Access policies
• Administer endpoint protection, vulnerability remediation, patch management, and security monitoring
• Configure and maintain firewalls, switches, wireless access points, routers, VLANs, network segmentation, and secure remote access
• Administer backup and recovery solutions and perform documented restore testing
• Coordinate escalated incidents, infrastructure projects, and service delivery with the managed service provider
• Maintain infrastructure inventories, licensing records, network circuit details, privileged account records, and technical dependencies
• Develop and maintain infrastructure documentation, operational procedures, and runbooks
• Use PowerShell and automation tools to improve operational efficiency
