Job summary

Deploy and maintain physical infrastructure for cloud data center operations, including server hardware, Linux-based server software, and network components. The role tests and troubleshoots equipment and operating system issues, resolves escalated technical problems with stakeholders, and may lead installation projects. Work can involve manual rack installation and non-standard shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with computer or server hardware troubleshooting and diagnosis.
• Experience with Linux operating systems and networking protocols.
• Experience in project management, leadership, and team collaboration.
• Preferred experience in a data center or network operations center.
• Preferred experience maintaining and monitoring server systems.
• Fluent German for day-to-day operations and communication with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, maintain, and support cloud data center infrastructure.
• Lead troubleshooting and resolve escalated equipment issues.

• Configure and troubleshoot server operating system issues.
• Resolve hardware, software, application, operational, and process issues through final resolution.
• Communicate technical resolutions with stakeholders.
• Participate in or lead installation projects and develop contingency plans.
