Job summary

As a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer at Pix***, you will shape and protect the studio's physical and virtual infrastructure, focusing on secure, scalable server environments and virtualization platforms.

Qualifications

• experience managing enterprise virtualisation platforms like VMware or Proxmox
• administration expertise in Windows Server and Linux environments
• understanding of core directory and network services
• experience managing enterprise storage platforms and disaster recovery procedures
• experience configuring and maintaining enterprise switches, routers, VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls
• track record of delivering complex infrastructure upgrades
• proficient in scripting with PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• security mindset with an analytical approach to system hardening and performance tuning
• strong technical documentation skills

Responsibilities

• design secure, scalable server environments and virtualisation platforms
• oversee core infrastructure across VMware, Proxmox, Windows, and Linux
• maintain and improve network stack including switching, routing, VLANs, VPNs, Wi-Fi, and firewalls
• lead technical projects, upgrades, and migrations
• identify and resolve bottlenecks and technical risks
• advocate for automation and continuous improvement
• establish infrastructure standards
• manage vendor relationships
• create technical documentation and architecture diagrams
• mentor the IT team
