Job summary

Develop and operate backend systems for payment solutions in the mobility sector, contributing throughout the software development lifecycle from architecture and implementation to testing, deployment, and monitoring. The role uses Java or Kotlin with Spring Boot to build microservices and REST APIs, integrates PostgreSQL on AWS RDS, and supports automated DevOps deployments.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of practical Java or Kotlin development experience.
• At least 2 years of practical cloud platform experience, ideally with AWS.
• Strong experience developing applications with Spring Boot.
• Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests, ideally with JUnit and Mockito.
• Experience with agile development processes such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Good written and spoken German and English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend systems using Java or Kotlin and Spring Boot.
• Design, implement, and document microservices and REST APIs.
• Maintain code quality through unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito.
• Integrate relational databases, including PostgreSQL on AWS RDS.
• Manage database migrations and versioning with Flyway.
• Contribute across the software development lifecycle, including architecture, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Support stable, automated deployment processes in a DevOps environment.
