Senior Kubernetes Platform Engineer

Job summary

The Senior Kubernetes Platform Engineer is tasked with ensuring the reliable operation and automation of a multi-tenant Kubernetes platform that supports various products and tenants. This role involves executing the Kubernetes cluster lifecycle, managing the GPU integration layer, and diagnosing scheduling failures, all while driving continuous improvement and automation in a 24/7 operational environment.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in platform and infrastructure engineering
• Deep experience operating Kubernetes at fleet scale
• Strong experience with Kubernetes control plane internals
• Experience writing Kubernetes controllers
• Familiarity with multi-tenant or virtual cluster patterns
• Experience operating GPU-enabled Kubernetes
• Strong skills in infrastructure automation
• Experience with scripting or programming for operational automation
• Proven ability to act as a senior escalation point in production
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes security fundamentals
• Clear technical judgement and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliable operation, automation, and continuous improvement of the multi-tenant Kubernetes platform
• Build operational tooling, guarded remediation, and orchestration for fleet-scale automation
• Execute Kubernetes cluster lifecycle management across the fleet
• Operate and recover Kubernetes control planes with live tenant workloads
• Manage virtual cluster platform and multi-tenant isolation patterns
• Oversee GPU integration layer for Kubernetes
• Diagnose and resolve scheduling failures and resource contention
• Run Kubernetes baselines in production
• Provide technical expertise for Kubernetes faults
• Lead technical recovery during major Kubernetes incidents
