Senior Lead Platform Engineer - Networking - Accelerator

Job summary

As a Platform Engineer in the Networking Team, you will implement platform-wide strategies and optimize infrastructure for failover and resiliency. Key responsibilities include leading troubleshooting of production workloads, developing secure high-quality production code, and enhancing observability of networking components while utilizing cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes and AWS or GCP.

Qualifications

• Detailed understanding of public clouds and building cloud-based environments
• Expert knowledge of containerisation, Kubernetes, and related tooling
• Deep understanding of cloud-native and traditional networking architectures
• Proven experience designing and operating scalable, secure networks in GCP or AWS
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, BGP, routing, DNS, NAT, Firewalls, IPAM, Load Balancers, VPN)
• Extensive experience writing and maintaining custom Kubernetes Operators in Golang
• Capable of writing code for highly automated infrastructure environments
• Demonstrated experience with AI-assisted software development tools
