Job summary

The Senior Lead Software Engineer, Cloud Platform role is centered on designing and delivering secure, high-quality technology solutions that enhance data and analytics strategies. Responsibilities include leading the development of cloud infrastructure, promoting AI-assisted engineering practices, and implementing real-time telemetry for observability. Candidates should have hands-on experience with major cloud providers and advanced knowledge of containerization and orchestration platforms.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Advanced knowledge of containerization and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, etc.).
• Demonstrated experience leading effective use of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows.
• Expertise in Developer Experience (DevEx) and CI/CD tools.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices, shift-left methodologies, and DevSecOps processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the cloud engineering team.
• Lead the design and development of secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure and platform tools.
• Drive adoption of modern Developer Experience (DevEx) practices and evolve CI/CD and developer tooling.
• Drive adoption and governance of approved AI-assisted engineering practices across teams.
• Align platform strategy and roadmaps with business priorities and lead cross-functional modernization initiatives.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and eliminate platform bottlenecks.
• Implement real-time telemetry pipelines and workflows for platform observability and analytics.
