• Ability to collaborate across different levels and stakeholder groups

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on site reliability practices
• Develop secure production code for reliability tooling
• Drive decisions influencing reliability design and observability architecture
• Serve as a subject matter expert in site reliability and observability
• Lead resiliency design reviews and simplify complex reliability problems
• Act as main contact during major incidents and promote blameless postmortem culture
• Collaborate to define service level indicators and objectives
• Design and maintain operational reliability for OpenTelemetry pipelines
• Refactor legacy telemetry collection code to standardized OpenTelemetry instrumentation
• Contribute to engineering community and advocate for observability technologies
• Promote team culture of diversity and inclusion
