Senior Lead Site Reliability Engineer

Job summary

As a Senior Lead Site Reliability Engineer at IFS, you will be responsible for architecting, building, and operating Azure-based SaaS infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in SRE, Cloud Operations, or DevOps roles with Azure focus
• Expertise in Azure services including App Services, AKS, and Azure SQL
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions
• Experience with Ansible for configuration management
• Production-grade Kubernetes/AKS experience
• Experience with Prometheus and Grafana in production
• Experience with Pingdom and PagerDuty for monitoring and incident management
• Scripting and automation skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or ARM/Bicep
• Troubleshooting ability across distributed systems
• Ability to work effectively with software development teams
• Knowledge of security protocols and compliance controls in Azure

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and improve Azure-based infrastructure for SaaS services
• Own and improve CI/CD pipelines across Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions
• Configure and maintain Ansible playbooks for configuration management
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or ARM/Bicep
• Collaborate with R&D engineering teams
• Manage observability and alerting stack across Azure Monitor and other tools
• Design and optimize AKS clusters for production workloads
• Lead root cause analysis on production incidents
• Define and own SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets for Azure-hosted services
• Implement security controls across identity, access, and secrets management
• Produce and maintain architecture documentation and operational playbooks
