Job summary

As a Senior Lead Site Reliability Engineer at JPMorgan Chase, you will work with stakeholders to define non-functional requirements and availability targets for services, ensuring they are integrated into product design and testing. You will also mentor technologists, drive the evolution of critical components, and contribute to the site reliability community.

Qualifications

  • Formal training or certification in site reliability engineering
  • Advanced knowledge in site reliability culture and principles
  • Experience in observability practices
  • Proficiency in Java, Go (Golang), Python, and Terraform
  • Experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities
  • Ability to set safe AI usage practices in operations
  • Knowledge of software applications and technical processes
  • Experience building AI Agents and autonomous systems
  • Experience building production-grade RESTful APIs and message queue architectures
  • Proficiency in containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps workflows
  • Ability to communicate data-based solutions effectively

Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver high quality designs, roadmaps, and program charters
  • Act as a key resource and mentor for technologists
  • Collaborate to create and implement observability and reliability designs
  • Use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate reliability design
  • Drive evolution and debugging of critical components
  • Provide ongoing guidance, tools, and solutions for growth
  • Contribute to the site reliability community via forums and conferences
  • Lead adoption of AI-assisted reliability workflows
