Job summary

The Senior Microsoft 365 Platform Engineer is tasked with the ownership, security, and daily management of the Microsoft 365 tenant, emphasizing Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Entra ID. Responsibilities include managing mail flow, ensuring governance for collaboration tools, administering Copilot, and developing automation using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph, while mentoring junior team members and safeguarding data security and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with Exchange Online management and configuration.
• Understanding of mail flow and email security protocols.
• Experience managing SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams.
• Experience administering Copilot for Microsoft 365.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID.
• Proficient in PowerShell and Microsoft Graph scripting.
• Experience integrating SaaS applications with Microsoft 365.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Intune for endpoint management.
• Experience managing Microsoft licensing globally.

Responsibilities

• Own the Microsoft 365 platform end-to-end, including its security posture and service health.
• Manage Exchange Online mail flow, including hybrid connectors and email authentication.
• Provide governance for SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams.
• Administer Copilot for Microsoft 365, focusing on data readiness and adoption.
• Manage Microsoft Entra ID, including role-based access control and group management.
• Develop PowerShell and Microsoft Graph automation for provisioning and reporting.
• Design SaaS application integrations with Microsoft 365.
• Oversee tenant backup and recovery for Microsoft 365 workloads.
• Act as the escalation point for Microsoft 365 issues.
• Lead investigation and remediation of Microsoft 365 security incidents.
• Advise on Microsoft contract renewals and manage license allocation.
• Mentor junior team members and create self-service documentation.
