Job summary
The Manager of DevOps Developer Tools leads operational excellence and technical enablement of RBC's Enterprise DevOps developer tooling ecosystem, managing a team of DevOps Engineers and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree with change management experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Organizational, project management, and time management capabilities
- Understanding of technology and financial services industry

Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of technology specialists for developer tooling platforms
- Oversee troubleshooting and optimization of developer tools
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and technical documentation
- Manage audit requests and compliance inquiries
- Ensure systems meet regulatory and compliance requirements
- Drive operational improvements and process optimization
- Monitor key performance indicators and service level agreements
- Work with vendors to enhance and maintain SLAs
- Support business units with tool onboarding
- Serve as liaison between business units and DevOps technology team
- Partner with architects and IT leadership
- Support incident response and escalation processes
- Recommend technology upgrades and infrastructure improvements
