Senior Microsoft 365 Platform Engineer

Job summary

Pharmaron is seeking a Senior Microsoft 365 Platform Engineer to provide senior 3rd line support across various Microsoft 365 services. The role involves troubleshooting, administration, and operational improvements while working onsite five days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Microsoft environment focused on Microsoft 365 administration.
• Extensive expertise in Microsoft 365 services, including Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Experience in leading migrations, updates, and optimizations in Microsoft 365 using PowerShell.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architectures, identity services, and security principles.
• Experience implementing Zero Trust principles across cloud collaboration platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the senior 3rd line escalation point for Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, endpoint, identity, access, and collaboration platform issues.
• Administer, manage, troubleshoot, and improve Microsoft 365 services.
• Troubleshoot Intune and Autopilot issues.
• Support the IT Service Desk and wider IT team with complex incidents and service requests.
• Manage accounts, access, licenses, devices, and Microsoft 365 services for joiner, leaver, and mover processes.
• Use PowerShell scripting and automation for Microsoft 365 administration and operational improvement.
• Support Microsoft 365 security, compliance, access controls, and endpoint security.
